I don't want to go to the detailed lists of all the things and places to visit, but something which can be done for sure are listed below and which are closer to main Town and the Cruise Port. There is a Huge list of Houses of Key West which are historical and some turned to Museums by their owners.
The Port itself is very beautiful and once you do get of the ship, your eyes will be awestruck with the view of the Port and the building, shops, malls, surrounded here. The Travelling mode is the best easiest way is to take those Conch Tour Train to explore Key west and main spots.

This is a must if you are a traveller and love adventure, take this on at Key West. Your Cruise Ships also arrange this. You can Sail by renting Boats and there are also tour boats around Key West. Don't miss the chance to explore Florida Keys.
Explore Duval Street & Mallory Square Waterfront
The Mallory Square is a waterfront location, where the Sunset is the best thing to view, and most of the crowd, tourists gather here for the lovely sunset. You can enjoy the exhibits of arts and crafts to street performances at the square.
The Square is West of Duval Street, and Duval Street of Key West needs no explanation, it's a place for fun, food, entertainment and beautiful houses seen as you keep walking on the street. Hard Rock Cafe is something that's well known here.
Water Sports at Key West
The place has activities like Snorkelling, Scuba diving, Sailing, Boat rides, fishing and so much to be done and leave you totally entertained.
Key West Butterfly & Nature Park

Now as Key West is popular for the Rich Houses and Lavish Old Houses for Mariners which have been Restored for visitors to see their lavish rich houses. Some known Houses like Ernest Hemingway Home built in 1851, it's a Spanish style Mansion. Harry S. Truman Little white House is a Naval command headquarters now. And there are many more which you will come across at Key west. And the Oldest House of Key West is worth a glance, No to forget the Celebrity house like Kanye West & Rihanna's House.
Keywest Beaches & Walks
The places is beautiful and the easiest way to feel relaxed and entertained is to take a beach walk or a bicycle tour around. Also view the Southernmost point Key West is the southern most point of United States.
